FossilRockWalls

Shown here is our lightweight 4 foot by 8 foot artificial rock wall panel which is simply screwed to your existing wall!  This panel only weighs 28 pounds!  These sandstone finish panels are ideal for creating convincing, geologically formed wet walls, waterfalls, cliffs, pool side rock outcroppings, fountains, and accent walls.  Because actual sand is used in producing these panels, each has a natural sand grit texture.  The coloration shown here is our most popular color treatment.  Each is shipped with this color treatment as a standard feature.

The image to the left is of a panel colored with our "Shades of Gray" patina color treatment.

Standard panel thickness is 4", with approximately 3" out of the 4" being the maximum relief.  Custom panels are available in any thickness you choose.
The image directly above better illustrates our patented design.  Note how the edge treatment incorporates a 1/4 circle.  When two of these panel edges abut, the illusion of a core bore drill mark is created.  Basically, this design hides the vertical seam line by giving the viewer a narrative of the wall's origin.  Is says..."the rock wall you are looking at has been drilled and blasted with dynamite.  The architect and engineers went through a great deal of trouble, expense, and fuss to preserve this naturally formed rock wall.  Building the entire structure around this naturally formed Sandstone wall to preserve it; to leave it geologically intact, was not easy."  Suddenly, the wall you are looking at has a new significance.  The outside is on the inside.  What they are looking at is clearly not laid creek rock nor is it a dry-stacked rock wall.  It has not been laid by a mason.  This is the point of departure... "Was it an ancient Catacomb entrance?"  "Maybe the wall bled at one time."  "A tomb entrance?"  "Perhaps an historic battle took place here centuries ago?"

(Panels also available in this convenient 4 x 4 foot size)

Each of our patented naturalistic rock wall panel designs are available in three sizes: 4' x 8' vertical, 8' x 4' horizontal, and 4' x 4' squares.

The only difference between the two styles is that one has core bore drilled edges to create the illusion that the wall was drilled and blasted (shown above) and one has edges without the drill marks, and naturally abuts to the adjacent panel (not shown).

With both designs, the horizontal seams are hidden by the natural striations in the layered rock pattern.
